Beautifully comfortable but just very slightly too small. Am hoping with wear they will adjust to myfeet and then truly fit like a glove.

Lovely pair of boots made from really soft leather Bought one size bigger for comfort as I have problem toes!

Like another reviewer I've had 2 pairs of the previous style for several years and they've been so comfortable. I've searched for them but these ones are the closest I've found. Have just had them delivered and they fit really well but the shape of the toes makes them look so old fashioned and frumpy. So disappointed.

I bought these because my previous pair of Joseph Seibel ankle boots were the best footwear I've Ever had: so comfortable, the soles gave me great confidence on wet or icy pavements (more so than my walking trainers or boots), they were warm but they also looked attractive. They wore well and I had them for a few years. They were still fine except the soles, but they are not the sort of boots you can have re-soled. So I looked for another pair as identical as possible. I couldn't find them in a shop so bought off the website. So these replacement ones I'm reviewing, after a couple of months wear, are fine but not as great as my previous pair. They are still comfortable and non slip but the ankle doesn't have the soft warm lining. What I really don't like about them is the shape of the toes. I think the boot looks functional rather than attractive. If the photo loads then the boot on the left is the original, with 'toe' tapered to the centre. The new boot is on the right with the 'toe' tapered towards the big toe. I don't feel as smart wearing these. The boots are both size 4. You can see the soft lining of the older boot. I'd love to be able to buy my original boots again.
