I wish I could give these boots 5 stars - I loved the design and the colour and they held so much promise. Unfortunately, they were painful from the first moment I put them on and much tighter than previous Josef Seibel boots in the same size I'd tried on. I haven't given up on the brand, but the fact that I had to pay to return them means I'm reluctant to risk another online order, so probably won't end up buying any more unless that changes. Which is shame, because I really thought I'd find the boots for me here!
So disappointed
I have purchased many pairs of Josef Seibel shoes over the years but these by far are the most uncomfortable pair of boots I've ever had the regret of buying. They are incredibly difficult to get on for a start due the fabric insert next to side zip and once on feel extremely narrow and restrictive. I naively thought they would 'give' a little due to being leather but in hindsight seriously wish I had returned them to store.

So much smaller and narrower than my other Josef Seibel boots so I returned them. Such a shame as I adore my softer outside, fake fur lined boots, but these are hard and uncomfortable.

I like these books a lot. At first they feel a little narrow, especially with thick socks, but the leather is think but soft so it soon gives a little to fit comfortably. Absolutely perfect for what I want!
