Bought to replace a pair of everyday shoes that are starting to wear out due to the stitching on top breaking. I may try to replace the stitching and carry on using them although they are no longer waterproof. Important for me was to have a substantial sole as these shoes will get mistreated and used in slippery conditions and on rough surfaces. Also used when cycling so can get very wet. Bought at a discounted price so trashing them will not be painful. Not yet worn enough to indicate how long they will last. I would never recommend anything to a friend as it is the fastest way of losing a friend.

Took one day to get comfortable into these leather shoes. It was initially scratching the sides of my ankle but I deemed it as normal as all good leather shoes need time to break into a brand new pair. The second day of wearing to work already felt comfortable and did well in rainy Manchester weather.
