Only four stars as although I am pleased with the sandals and knew they would be comfortable as I have had the same style before, they are the second pair I have had with the same fault that has to be rectified. There has been some dark brown stitching over the original stitching where the ankle strap joins the sole. This stitching has a series of tiny hard knots which make the sandal unwearable as they scratch so much. On this occasion I was able to undo the brown stitching without harm to the sandal. It was difficult and took a long time and a lot of care. I do not understand how it is overlooked in your quality control. In other respects it is a good product.

I have lost count of the number of pairs of Josef Seibel sandals I have bought over the years, Debra being the style I have chosen most of the time. I can rely upon the sizing and the comfort. I have a pair I bought a while ago in the colour Brandy, which is a lovely rich colour but sadly this doesn't appear to be available now. When new I wear them to go shopping in the summer, when a little 'worn in' I wear them around the house and when shabby I wear them in the garden. It is good to be able to adjust both straps to get a perfect fit.

Very comfy, straps can allow my feet to swell!
I have been wearing these (Debra) for many years, in all weathers, as they are the only style of footwear that fit my feet due to being adjustable. I have seven pairs in various colours. They are smart and hard wearing. In winter I can wear thick socks and thinner ones in the warmer weather or non at all.
This is the second time I've bought these sandals. They are so comfortable and easy to wear. Couldn't find anything I liked better

I have got 2 pairs now in different colours. They're very comfy and look good. I can open the straps if my feet swell.
