It’s confirmed and from Monday in England and Wales (and not too much longer for Scotland), a thumbs up to once again going shopping, visiting the hairdressers (hooray!) and travelling to new places in this wonderful country of ours, in addition to hopefully a diary full of select garden parties and outings. It’s exciting to think that, whilst being careful to protect ourselves and others, our worlds are once again going to become a little wider when a year ago we were facing very tough restrictions during the first phase of the pandemic.
A year is a long time and at Josef Seibel we’ve been rifling through our forgotten wardrobes to plan outfits for all these new occasions with glee. April is a transitional month when it comes to clothes and shoes, especially when the weather can’t make up it’s mind like this past weekend! We're planning a few new purchases too. Early contenders from the new spring Josef Seibel footwear collection include closed toe styles from the Rosalie group which are lightweight enough to be considered a sandal and therefore will carry you through summer and beyond. There are a wealth of appealing finishes too, ready to turn heads. Clogs, such as Betsy or Catalonia are also an excellent and versatile choice for this time of year. Easy to slip on at a moment’s notice, with the height to dress either up or down depending on the occasion.
If you can, please do support the independent shoe retailers on your local high streets, many of which are run by extremely hard working families who have shown great determination to survive the restricted trading conditions over the past year and the innovation to keep coming up with new ideas to keep us in footwear!

Enjoy shopping for new shoes, it’s one of our favourite hobbies!
